Dinning Out

Since baby and I are not eating out very much; even we do sometimes, we go for those old places we’ve know and loved. Therefore, going lunch with friends/ co-workers are like a chance to try something different.

Sometimes we find treasure. Like at the end of 2003, to celebrate our finish of the class, my Japanese teacher took the class to the Japanese restaurant “Fukada.” BB went with me and we immediately in love with its food. Now it’s our top two choice for Japanese food; the top one choice, Minato, was found when baby went to lunch with his co-worker.

Today my office went to Taco Time. A very friendly restaurant; decoration is neat and the food is good. Ah-ha, another good place for Mexican food adds on our list. =D

I see it coming

More and more women are successful in their career and in the society.
There’s news about U.K. saying last year was the first year female’s work force exceeded male.
The school I am working is promoting for gender equity, and the department has hired four female out of five professors during the two years since I came on board.
BB’s previous boss is a lady who is very capable and is recently promoted COO.

I am proud.

I used to believe that female can do great things.
It proves many women must were thinking about the same thing –
as I have seen so many of us achieving dreams and goals
as I have worked with so many wonderfully professional career women.

Though I am still frustrated when some people still materialize women or don’t pay any respect, those things will just be left behind since we are actually making the history. =)
