I tried to call ETTV cable for the last couple days but fail
(the mechanic voice kept telling me, "if you want to redail, please do so...")
Friday afternoon, I finally went through and talked to a person.
After our conversation, I asked, "how come I got the error signal before?"
And he told me they are located in Taiwan (ETTV's headquarters), and their communication was interrupted because the 6.7 magnitude Hengchun earthquake happened on Tuesday damaged the undersea cable.
After I hung up, I had another question and called the company again. But it was busy.
So I left a message.
Today, at 6:05pm, Dec 30. A lady called me back.
After our conversation, I asked, "isn't it Sunday in Taiwan now? (and it's New Year's Eve)"
"Yes."
"Happy New Year." I said.
